Welcome to the only site dedicated solely to the Ford Racing Puma

Here you will be able to find out more details on the Ford Racing Puma (FRP) which was created in a limited run of just 500 by Tickford in the UK. It had a modified version of the 1.7 Zetec-SE engine pushing out 153bhp.

The bodywork was changed to give it wider front and rear wings, with the track increased and the rims upgraded to 17" Speedlines which housed large Alcon 4 pot calipers and discs, with disc brakes to the rear.

The interior was also transformed with Sparco bucket seats finished in blue Alcantara trim, which was also used to trim the rear seats and door cards. This version was only made available in right hand drive to the UK market, with all 500 cars produced in Ford Racing Blue.

About us

Since starting the club in 2002 the RPOC has come a long way, building up our knowledge of the FRP in the process.

We are a group of friendly enthusiastic people, who welcome new members of all ages, and organise events throughout the year so other people enthusiastic about the FRP can meet up with our members for a chat.

Take some time out to have a look at our site, and if you require any more information on the Racing Puma or the Club then please do not hesitate to
contact us.

The club is run entirely voluntary by fellow FRP enthusiasts for the benefit of each other. Please remember this when things seems a bit slow on the site, we all work full time and do what we can for the club in whatever time we have spare.
