Chris looks after a lot of FRP's brakes, which would other wise be at the mercy of people unfamiliar with the set up and quirks.
I suspect He does a lot more FRP brakes than you have done.
He saves the owners money, but still make enough for the odd beverage. I suspect.
He might not be an engineer like you or me, but knows his Alcon's
Jacko, You have access to various equipment and materials which allow you to manufacture bits that even I cant. So you are in the privileged position of not needing to rely on anyone else for expertise or parts.
Are you still doing a sets of Stainless bolts for the Alcons?
It's personal preference with regards to clutch etc.
I had a standard one fitted last year. The original had lasted 77K miles and worked fine. So an original went back in.
Why Mod It when there is nothing wrong with it?
