I have decided to reluctantly put up for sale my FRP. Lots of people say “reluctant sale” but this really is one.
Apologies for the long description but I think its worth it!
I purchased the vehicle on the 21 June 2008 with the plan to fully restore it to its former glory.
Its number 411 and was first registered on the 4 October 2000.
The previous owner, Lucy, had spent a great deal of money maintaining and improving the car.

There are receipts for general parts and its got a Thatcham approved alarm.
I have the original, numbered owners guide supplement, the Ford Racing rear mirror hanger and the zip up owners pack. I also have ALL the keys.
The Puma has been sensibly improved and has:
Full milltek stainless exhaust including manifold.
Custom composite air intake feed.
Uprated ignition leads
Clear side indicators
Starter button along with the usual key.
And now for the really good bit!
The car has just been returned to me from the bodyshop. Over the last seven months, the car has pretty much been resprayed. The overall cost of this work was around £2000. Externally I would say the car is stunning. I have used the bodyshop on several occasions for previous classic cars that I have owned. I have lots of photos of the work carried out.
Whilst there, I treated the wheels to a full refurb. Lepsons carried the work out and they are as new.
I also have a steering wheel which has just been recovered with the originally supplied Alcantara. Labour on this was £120 excluding the material, I am including that with the sale. The brake callipers were refurbed last year. The seats have some bobbling on but I have enough Alcantara left to recover them and I will include that with the sale.
The car was featured in the August 2004 edition of Performance Ford where it recorded the 60 sprint in 7.75 seconds and the ¼ mile in 16.26 seconds. It was 4th quickest in the sprint and 5th in the quarter mile and 0-100. Out of 12, mostly modified Puma’s.
It wont be going on ebay and is here to be sold. Average examples seem to be making anything from £4500 to £5500 so I think my asking price of £6500 is sensible.
I havent got any fotos of it as I am waiting for some wheel centre caps and will then get it valeted but just imagine a shiny blue FRP! Its lovely and I just wish I could keep it.
