Brake dust on the wheels  Vas.
I washed my cars wheels off yesterday as I'm off for a photo shoot with a Saleen Mustang tonight.
The next time the cars wheels get cleaned will be Rallyday I expect

Don't think I will be putting my car in the same group as yours.....

Zara got brake dust on her wheels within a 30 mile drive on the weekend!

Looking at the timetable, there may not be any chance to give the car anymore than a quick wipe over, upon arrival.

For owners interested in the competitions:

Best Daily Driver - Your FRP is your only car and gets used accordingly for all activities. To achieve maximum points your vehicle will have no significant visual modifications to it’s original appearance.

Best Weekend car - Your FRP is your second car, and is only used occasionally for fun activities.
To achieve maximum points your vehicle will have no significant visual modifications to it’s original appearance.

Colin Yamamoto “Spirit of Bok” trophy - Your FRP is modified to appear different from it’s original appearance.

In all cases, vehicles are judged on their overall presentation. A vehicle information sheet should be present giving any useful information for the judges to consider.

Duxford are fairly restrictive about activities in their car parks, so please do not plan on doing any preparation to cars beyond simple wiping off of bugs and dust. No washing, no polishing after arrival (spend time enjoying what the venue has to offer, not car-preening for once)!

When you register on arrival, please mention that you want your car to be judged and which category you are entering it in. We'll do the rest. :)
