Hi everyone,

New to the forum and on the hunt to buy my first FRP.

Does anybody here know anything about the history of 003?
I am hoping to make a trip to go and view it in the week.

Any info would be great.

Hi Jimbo
Number 3 is on the PP FRP list as being for sale in November 2013.
Let us know what you think if you go view it.
Good luck with your search, there seems to be a few coming up for sale recently.
Dave from Leicester (The Old Gimmer) has mentioned that he is selling his. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, very nice and well maintained.
Kate, just a number plate, but don't you think the FRP looks a bit more special with a non standard plate? :D

I also am quite tied to liking the original plates that a car came with too :)

Yeah, Joanne spent most of the day last Saturday showing viewers round her car. I think she got a lot of genuine interest, I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a few offers on it.
Shame really, from talking with her I don't think she really wants to sell it but apparently it's a bit too uncomfortable for her now :(

I'm new to RPOC and I'm looking to buy a FRP and have seen the car you are talking about advertised. I don't think it is actually 003 as 001 to 006 were all press cars and registered in Oct 1999 as V1FRP to V6FRP and if you look on the DVLA website it shows V3FRP is still on a Ford puma registered in Oct 1999 and P40 UMA, the car advertised as number 003, was registered in 2000. I have checked that the date on the DVLA website is the date of first registration of a car by checking the reg on my car, which is a personalised one.

Hi
I think you are confusing FMC 03 with 0003
The first is a press car and the later is a production customer car.
The car being talked about is the customer production car.
