Hi to all

I have a question for you
My front seats have a bit of bobbling on the seat bases so I have just spent a fortune and got some genuine material off eBay ( you were proberely watching it!)
Anyway I plan to get the seats sorted and I will have enough to redo the gear stick gaiter and the handbrake gaiter as these are a slightly different cover.
I have a hole in the drivers bolster and I was wondering if anyone knew where to get some of this material. It's the black plastic which has a finish not dissimilar to a golf ball.?
Then after these have been done I need to get the steering wheel sorted.
There is one on eBay from Germany for £148.00 but the colour is called alanctara 158. Does anyone know if this is the correct material?
After this my interior will be mint ( apart from a small fortune being spent)

Thanks in advance to all

Simon

I am just about to have the bolsters on my seats replaced. Alcantara still good.
Unable to find the 'golf ball' plastic I am having them replaced with leather.
Seriously considering leather all over to banish future problems.

Steering wheel may just be filthy and need a careful clean.
If you intend to drive it lots then get a every day fiesta from the right age steering wheel.
Get seat covers, the bolters wear from buttoms being dragged over them and the side black bits particularily from behind dragging.
Seat bobbles can be carefully removed using a wollen jumper shaver device which trims the bobbles off, but the material essentially gets thinner.

Same things on my car I've just bought need attention. My friendly automotive upholsterer is going to repair the bolster as he thinks he has some of the material already, he'll also recover the steering wheel as he thinks he can match the colour, if not it's £148 for me too. As I've got so many other bits to do to the first these won't get done for a month or so. I'll keep you posted.

Hi, bought FRP #8 a couple of weeks ago, trim had been removed from wheel as it was very tatty. Replacement or retrim was on my to do list but this came up for sale. Seems to be completely original with very little wear :)

I have had rear, front seat bases and a steering wheel recovered by Mike Presgrave. You will need to supply your own alcantara material.
Seat backs are tricky, you will lose the ford and sparco emblems.
He has found a really good match for the perforated leather for seat bolsters.
His tel is 07889039272

"Melina Motor" had some of the black perforated stuff a few years ago. He gave me a section of it.
I did find the company who did the embroidery on the back of seats too, think I got them through Boyriven the seat material company.

Pretty sure the details are on here somewhere or Pumapeople.

Allon White sports cars do a good job on wheels, a local chap did my seat base for £100.
