Hello,

I am looking for a few parts for my racing puma and wondered if anyone could give me the part number or let me know if I can use the standard Puma parts

The parts are:

os/r calliper

handbrake cable

rear brake pads

ns/f abs sensor

Also does anyone know if the handbrake cable is just one cable that goes to the callipers or if it separates of to another cable?

Thank you for your help.
Kaz

Yes it's a LUCAS caliper from a Mk1 Ford focus, some early ones had drums I think, but any of the variants on the Mk1 which used Disc rear.
I just bought a set of STD Genuine Ford Focus Rear disc pads to be honest.
Might be better to buy re-furbed though as the handbrake mech is a bit notorious for getting "claggy"

Handbrake cable is effectively 2 cables that link to a metal bracket in the middle, but it is a single part ie you can't buy either side separately. Pumabuild still have a few, but not many.

If you pick up a second hand calipers I had mine rebuilt at big red in Worcester, you can see them on the pp thread 27 rear end rebuild.

Thank you all for your help.

Just one last question about the handbrake cable?

Will only the one sold on Pumabuild fit or would the standard puma handbrake cable fit?

Thanks again!

Std Puma will NOT fit, check out Ebay though they seem to come along fairly regularly?

Thank you, can't see any on there at the moment. Think it will have to be £70 from Pumabuild.

You should speak to him.

Rear Caliper backplate/carrier Finis 1075557 (if it's seized)
Rear brake pads 1075565 (uprated ferodo pad)
Parkbrake cable F9097845 (PBuild have remaining stock of these)
RH rear caliper F1075553 i'm sure the old one can be resurrected tho...

Hi again,

Ed no longer has the handbrake cable available.

I was looking on Ebay and this seller confirmed that this cable for the fiesta would fit the racing Puma:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130717909510? ... 515wt_1037

He confirmed with my registration........

Do you think I should try it?

Thanks

lol.. don't listen to the ebay twats... that cable is for DRUM brakes

You need the FRP one...the ST fiesta can be made to fit, but it's not exactly the same length as the FRP one, so again, i'd stick to getting the proper part..
