weel nuts

im after 4 weel nuts to replace the locking weel nuts a previous owner has put on, in previous posts ive mentioned how the previous owner was an oaf... well the locking weel nuts are destroyed and have been such a hastle to get off and now they are off they are staying off. i went to a local autopart shop to get just 4 normal weel nuts but he seemd to think that the nut i took with me to be sure i got the right ones are a speacil fit! is this true? if so were can i find some as im pretty sure only 3 nuts per weel will be an mot fail for tomorow
