i have seen kits for the zetec S ect to fit turbo's, just curious if any body has done this with an frp or considered it?

People have done it with standard 1.7s and I imagine you'd probably need to lose the FRP manifold anyway so it'd not be any different except from the cams.

yep, it wouldn't be an FRP anymore...but i'm sure with the right budget and quality work it could be a pretty awesome drive...
My dream FRP would be a turbo and a progressive Wizards of NOS kit to spin it up quicker...
can't see it hapnin tho...

I was at Santa Pod a few years ago chatting to a chap with a RS200 powered Mk 1 Escort drag racer
He was getting about 800BHP out of the evolution engine but with massive Turbo lag.
So was using a progressive NOS set up to eliminate it.
Very Very clever
As the Boost came up the NOS went down.

I forget the fellas name, big in hill climb/time attack he used a gas turbine engine to prevent turbo lag (or something like that) will see if i can find a video sometime!
