She has been posting on facebook quite a lot about the race cars.
So pretty busy at the moment.
I was surprised not to see Lisa and Toby at Combe on Saturday for the sprint race.

Surely they should get someone else to help then if they are that busy, especially when people are paying money to view restricted parts of the site and can't.

I know Big Alan has just flown away on his hols and he's a mod on this site.
Ed is very busy with his business at the moment.

I do have a contact number that might be useful.
Will text someone shortly as I'm not posting it on here.
That might help

Just busy......

Vas has resigned as membership secretary and I have not had time to do anything about it.

I am closing the RPOC membership down for the moment as there is no-one to help run the club, bit of a shame after 10 years hard work, but I keep asking for help and everyone is too busy.

Current Membership packs will be processed as and when I get time, but my own personal life is more important than looking after a club for free at the moment, sorry :? (I have unlocked the forum for frp_024 and Frp9)

Details of club membership will be removed as of now, this may be re-instated at a later date with a web only lifetime membership option once I have time to look into it.

Sorry about that, but I can't do everything!

I did ask a very enthusiastic member for help with maybe either doing memberships and helping to organize a FRP show but heard nothing :(

I haven't had time to process memberships this year really as I have had less time to get to post office etc. I'm not able to run the membership side of things fully due to not having stock of 'Packs' etc , and I know how Lisa feels as sometimes it's just people complaining a lot, and I just thought, 'You know what, this is meant to be a fun hobby, and if you don't enjoy it, why do it' . I must say it's disconcerting when the 'Big hitters' are falling away from the club too, but I am still 110% enthusiastic about the car and will keep the car forever :) and next year I should be up for the shows, as this year I have had to focus on other things.

I would like to offer my services as I think what we have here is great and it would be a real shame to lose what people have worked so hard to build. Our unique cars deserve and need a members club other wise FRPs will just become forgotten CHAVtastic cars. I am sure there are other members who would be willing to help or take over roles.

So, my services are on the table ;)

When I was a member of the uni's canoe club, when it was time for the committee to change people would put themselves forward etc, maybe we can adopt that here?

Why not run it like the other two puma forums ?
Both run themselves to a certain degree. Both are free ,but have numerous moderators keeping an eye on things.
The more mods, the less one person has to do.

I like the idea of this being a members only club, like the RS owners, XR owners etc and I'd like to think I'm not alone? Lisa, what do you think?

How do you mean Smudge? Like owners only, so cut out people like me that aren't an owner?

:D Yeah I think it works well enough. It's never going to have a massive turnover of threads due to the low numbers of cars!
