Is is possible to swap the driver and passenger seats over? On the face of it they look pretty much identical except for the seat belt mounting.

I'm thinking it would be a good way to start to even up the wear after 11yrs and 40K miles... even though it'll probably take me another 11yrs for get to 50K miles :)

Cheers

Mark

Disconnect the battery and leave it half an hour before starting.
From memory you have to unplug the seat belt tensioners.
You don't want them going off.

I went ahead and swapped the seat over at the weekend. I didn't bother disconnecting the battery but had no problem with the seat belt tensioners when I unplugged/re-plugged them in.

Pretty simple job, took me about 45 mins.

Seat cushion bolsters on both sides feel a little "plusher" as you slide in and of course if will even up the wear over the next 10 yrs :)

Cheers
