Have a look here at the original thread.
http://www.rpoc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=304&hilit=tickford

Not sure they are still doing it as there was some copyright issue
The logo I sent them is here if you can find someone else to put in on.

Use Ebay etc and look up "show plate" when you click to buy you confirm you wont be using the plate on the road.....

I got a set made up by No 1 show plates, which is the same company i believe Graham got his from. However they are made from a cheaper material than standard plates i have on my other cars.

So if we could get a group order and the plates can be made with the tickford logo and be made using normal number plate material. I would like a set.

Is it just a case of a logo at the bottom or is there some font also?

if its just a case of a logo it shouldnt be too difficult.

So what would people be looking for? a plain plate with just the tickford logo on the bottom? no border in normal size?

If so, i can get them made up. im pretty despirate now as my MOT is coming up and my plates are awfull.

Get your name and plate down and ill get back to you asap with a posted price.

The original
Font isn't legal any more. It was quite a skinny font. If I remember, I will take a photo .of my original plates which are in the shed. The font Glyn and I got was pretty close but I think looked better.
It will be the size and position of the Tickford logo that will give you problems.
Wugsy Plate.

I think your best bet will be doing what I did originally.
Contact one of the many sellers on Ebay of "Show Plates" and explaining what you want with the Tickford logo middle bottom.
I just had a quick look and there are loads doing them for around £20 a pair.
Send them a picture of my K9 plate Image
So they can see the size of the logo in relation to the plate.
See what they say.....

I will put my name down for 3 sets.

Hey guys,
right I have now recived the plates. On first inspection they look pretty good, but I'm not sure if the spacing of the Tickford logo is right. I may ask them to redo as I think its a tad too high.

Let me know. I would recommend these guys as their service was pleasent and quick. If interested I can let you know who I used.

Always bugged me - what's the significance of "RNO" at the end of a lot of the registrations? I've seen a load of FRP with this as well as a few older Fiestas :?

I'm still waiting on a reply with a sample of the plates.

The tickford badge looks a touch high in the pictures smudge.

RNO is ex Ford lease managment cars, Many FRP's were registered this way because they were poor sellers.
