Steering Wheel Re-trim - Template

Could anyone help me with the amount of material required for re-trimming a steering wheel or better still does anyone have a template.

Perhaps some one has recently had one done and has the old cloth they could measure for me.

I saw on eBay a few weeks back two pieces of fabric at 18"x12" which was supposedly enough for a steering wheel, however confirmation of this would be great.
