Right Guys and Gals. I've heard a lot about 'Detailing' on here.
I know nothing about it, what do I need to buy and how do I do it so I can get these great results. Thank you in advance

Well, I would visit... www.detailingworld.com
And have a looksee...
It ain't cheap though...I use a 3m rotary polisher + 3M pads and polish.
But you can buy a rotary for £40, so it needn't cost so much
Just to give you a clue though..I use a product called Gtechniq C4 for all the black bits (plastic and rubber) this costs around £30 for about 3 teaspoons full.
It's habit forming though...

Detailing = OCD car cleaning.....

Once you start , you will soon need a seperate garage just for your car cleaning products :D

Look into "Clay Bars" & Megulars Polish- a good start ( 342 was clayed last summer + 3 stage Megulars polish system ) you will get a good looking shine for not silly money.

Hope 342 is still putting a smile on your face , missing him already :(

342 is still putting a smile on my face, look :D :arrow: see
but 342 is a 'she' not a 'he' now :lol:
She is a great car who has been loved and cared for all her/his life and this will remain so, no matter what the cost :shock:
Thanks Richard and Bonnietiler

PS what does OCD mean? Is it short for over the top addicted to polishing :lol:
