Consider P Zero Nero's too.
I had them on my car for a while, the best tyre I have had on the car compared to the Toyo TR1's, Yoko Parada's, and Uniroyle Rainmasters (Almost as good)
They definably gripped better than the TR1's as the first time I took by a tight right hander on my way to work at my normal speed, I picked up a bit of vegetation in the splitter  Slight under steer....
A tad pricey though so not an my shopping list these days.

Hi,

I can vouch for Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3 being very good both in the dry and the wet. I have used them on both my Pumas for several years, though I can no longer get them in 195/50 R15 for the standard Puma. They are still available for the Racing Puma: e.g. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 5s103p9478 At £93.45 a corner. Note: Do not confuse these with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics - they are not the same tread pattern! Another source: http://www.tyretraders.com/tyreInformat ... R1783YGSD3

Good luck!

I think that my next tyre choice will be 2 pair of Yoko ADVAN NEOVA AD08 !

I've heard really good comments on these tyres. My FRP is a "week end" car, so I hope it will be a good choice :?

Just ordered some more Toyo T1R's for the FRP, not the longest or shortest time a pair of tyres have lasted me around 4K miles
That including two outings at Combe in those miles.
(I have noticed on some pictures the rim is well exposed under heavy cornering, where the side wall is flexing quite a lot.)

Ok for general road use though, price against grip and handling.
Pumabuild at £80 odd each was the cheapest I could find...

On my last trackday I had Uniroyle Rain masters on the back, well worn but still legal. With Nankang's on the front
Front was fine, but the Uniroyle's let me down by overheating and allowing the back end to come round on one particular corner.
Even with the picnic bench on the back
Very progressively though and it was fun seeing how far it would go without me loosing it. (full lock in the end)
So it's thumbs up for Nankangs in the dry anyway at less than £100 a pair delivered.
That's my Road and Track tyre selection sorted.

Yoko ADVAN NEOVA AD08 spotted then last year or so, but don't need new tyres
if they have a really good stiff sidewall then they look very promising for my FRP use

not a bad price either

deffo top of my list for my next tyres (after no doubt more research) as I don't think I can get mine anymore, so would either wait to wear them out... or perhaps change them and sell the current set
