Just ordered some more Toyo T1R's for the FRP, not the longest or shortest time a pair of tyres have lasted me around 4K miles
That including two outings at Combe in those miles.
(I have noticed on some pictures the rim is well exposed under heavy cornering, where the side wall is flexing quite a lot.)
Ok for general road use though, price against grip and handling.
Pumabuild at £80 odd each was the cheapest I could find...
On my last trackday I had Uniroyle Rain masters on the back, well worn but still legal. With Nankang's on the front
Front was fine, but the Uniroyle's let me down by overheating and allowing the back end to come round on one particular corner.
Even with the picnic bench on the back
Very progressively though and it was fun seeing how far it would go without me loosing it. (full lock in the end)
So it's thumbs up for Nankangs in the dry anyway at less than £100 a pair delivered.
That's my Road and Track tyre selection sorted.
