Hi guys, servicing the car tomorrow (or today if your reading this on Saturday).

Does anyone know the torque settings for the s.plugs / sump plug?
Also, roughly how much oil does the car hold? I've brought a 5l oil can but I know some cars are more than this now.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Dan :D

PS. If someone has time, please feel free to let me know the location of the fuel filter. If not no worries, I'll find it.

PSS. 0012 has been for a trip to Nando's tonight :D

hi mate cant remember the correct torque for the sump plug i just do mine tight and ive not had one leak yet.

spark plugs i just do tight then another little nip, again never had any problems.

4.5 litres of oil to the top of the fill line so 5 will do it :-).

and the fuel filter is underneath just in front of the petrol tank on the passenger side.

you can just see it in this pic at the front of the tank.

would agree with everything al has said.

4.5 lts of 5w30 oil

when you disconnect the fuel hoses from filter, don't worry about the small amount of petrol, the valves on end of hose/clips will self seal.

When I serviced a puma, I just nipped the spark plugs tight just beyond hand tight, the same with the oil filter.
