I am just wondering what the standard FRP splitter is made of? Mine is a carbon fibre looking one so am unsure if it's a standard piece or an upgraded one. Is the original plain black, a carbon look-a-like, or a real carbon fibre one?

Thanks in advance.

frp standard was a plastic splitter which had a carbon fibre look to it.

plain black are aftermarket ones and some of us now have real carbon fibre ones.

you can tell which is which, as the fake carbon fibre is a perfect weave, where as real carbon fibre will never be perfect.

I repaired mine with some fibre glass bridging filler after I clipped a pile of frozen snow during the winter, It broke an edge off. :(

I had my milly last year for the snow! Was awesome, skinny tyres cutting through the snow no problem.

I worry what this winter will bring. :(
