I am what some might say the black sheep of my family for not owning a Ford! Family members all own classic escorts and even a freshly restored Orion! I am hoping to join the flock and own that all important blue badge!

I am a classic mini nutter and buy sell and restore all types of mini. I have owned a few Pumas over the years and it is now time for me to up my game and get an FRP.

I am now on the hunt, I have cash burning a hole in my pocket for the right one.

If any members of this forum have something that may be of interest please do get in contact with me.

I hope to find the one for me very soon!

Thanks for reading,

James

hi james there was a lady on our stand yesterday that is looking to sell hers, not sure of her username, will try and find out for you.

what i would say is ask questions with members etc if they know the car and things, as dont always just go for the cheapest one as there is a massive difference between a good frp and a rubbish one.

things like exhaust can cost a grand if needs doing full system and brakes can go well into £500 plus if theyve not been looked after, makes sure the cambelt has been done every 5 years and also that it was done by a dealer with the correct tool for the frp as there is only 10 odd in existence and if not timed properly you will be well down on power.

check for rust on the rear wheel arches etc and stone chips.

any questions you have just ask

Hi James
If you love you classic minis the Frp is one of the best moves you can make, I parted with my 77 1293 med turbo after 17 years. love minis but the frp just that bit better.
