Looks great Glyn and reminds me that a friend of mine and his business partner bought a matching pair of beige RS2000's when they first came out. Whenever we talk cars he always say why didn't I keep them!

Very nice Glyn, I was bought up on RWD Ford Escorts.
The Mexico MK2 was pretty rare anyway, sort of a Harrier / RS 2000 go between I thought.
Could never understand Ford putting that heavy Pinto lump with just 1600cc when the 2000 was the same weight but more power.
I could never own another MK1 or 2 Escort, I would just spend loads of money I have already spent in the past doing exactly what I have done before to the suspension and brakes.
But fit a YB Turbo this time around
