Hi. I am not sure what the fabric is. The inside is a grey fabric which feels quite soft to touch, a bit like a towel or a cloth. Like I said I have used the cover occasionally and have not noticed any marks on the paintwork.

On the Specialist website they explain it as this:

"Our fabric has been developed with a soft, non-abrasive backing that has been specifically designed to be gentle to paint and bodywork. Our Quality Assurance team check every cover before it leaves our facility, ensuring that our high standards are maintained."

It's not too hard Chris. You can do it on your own, I have always fitted it on my own.

I usually put the rear of the cover in place, the elastic holds it under the rear bumper. Then place the rest of the cover over the car making sure the wing mirrors go in their slots, then then pull the front of the cover down below the splitter making sure that the rear is still in place too. Then throw the two middle straps under the car and secure them on the other side, then secures the front and rear straps.

It is quite a snug fit on the front and rear bumper as you can see in the images, but I would say it takes 1-2 minutes to fit. The first time I fitted it I took my time to make sure it was all right, but after fitting it once or twice I found it much easier.
