Hi there,

Due to a chamge in circumstances I am selling my FRP.

I'm based in Edinburgh (working in Glasgow if that's easier) and will be looking for £5500.00 for the car.

It's just had a service where they replaced a sensor (potentiometer, it also had a hego sensor within the last year). It's been well looked after with full service history from mostly the main dealer in Peebles/Galashiels.

It's had a replacement instrument binnacle in its life. The mileage reads 16000 but this is on top of the mileage (37868) before it was changed for which I have documentation. Thus, the mileage now stands at 54821, in daily usage though so this will rise slightly.

Bad bits are few and far between, there's a couple of the usual stonechips on the front of the car. A couple of the alloys could probably do with a refurb but it's one of these things that you don't see from a distance. I think that's about it. I've noticed a couple of marks on the seats but I have been told these will come out with a bit of work so I'd be hoping to have that done by the time it sells.

I don't have any pictures at the moment but will get some done soon.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Meant to add, I would be interested in a part exchange on a sporty (or fast) diesel car.

Right, enough about Golfs, selling the Puma is what I would like to happen.
I'm thinking about putting it on pistonheads this week I think if there's no interest from here?

It cost £150.00 and was a brilliant day. Best £150 I ever spent on the car.
I also now know how to do it myself

That's quite cheap really when you consider how much cleaning product / electricity was used on the day and the amount of man hours on the car. It does look very good. Are you thinking of keeping it now?
