hey folks, just joined on behalf of my french friend, who just happens to be a Puma nut!!!!

i have questions (the answer to, i will have to translate for him) he's looking for a puma racing inlet manifold...

now the questions are...

A, anyone got one for sale?? (it would need to be posted to france, if poss or i have an british address, if not poss) or are they as rare rocking horse sh..... ugar/hens teeth???

B, are there any after market replacements for the genuine inlet manifold, if so anyone know a company or provide a link???

many thanks and i'll get him to take some pics of his pride and joy puma...

you'll have to excuse my ignorance on the subject of puma's but i'm a sierra cosworth owner (but hey, at least it's a ford!!!)

oh by the way his dad owns an immaculate focus st.

very rare for french folk to have such good taste in cars, believe me they drive all sorts of shite out here!!!

Hi and welcome :D

You might find an inlet manifold on this site.
http://pumabuild.co.uk/

If not they come up on Ebay occasionally.
There is a complete FRP engine on there at the moment.
There were the original 500 for the FRP's and a few extra ones numbered in the low 500's I think about.
I don't think anything else will do :?

hey welcome to the site!

To be honest they are very rare and if you do manage to track one down it wont be cheap, probably looking at about £400 plus. As far as i'm aware there are no aftermarket parts similar to the frp inlet set up, I could be wrong though.

you cant buy one as they arent available from ford anymore as pumaspeed bought the remaining 30 odd and have sold them all.

so even if anything happens to our own frp ones now we are fooked.

i have seen one copy manifold but i cant remember whos car it was on.

Without the other FRP tweaks..it will literally be for show only...don't expect ANY power increase at all.... certainly not £300 worth anyway...
