Looking for a good FRP, two on pistonheads, unsure on the cheapest.

Anyone looking to sell or advice on where to be looking, live Teesside

You need to set yourself a budget and look out for the front calipers and cambelt. Make sure the Alcon calipers have been serviced and are okay. Set yourself £100O for new discs/calipers/pads. Also make sure the cambelt has been done latley.

Thank you for responses, had a few PM's but not enough posts to reply as yet.

There are 3 on piston heads although the site has just changed (for the worse) and doesnt appear to be working correctly which wont be pleasing sellers I am sure.

Looking at spending circa £3,500 to £4,000 for a car so unsure on the concours or Ford Press cars, just want a nice example.

cheapest may not be a good idea when it comes to FRP....

i'd concentrate on finding the best possible.... :idea: :wink:

Would take friends who are a mix of ford Garage mechanics but all are RSOC regulars with their own fleet of exotic Fords of the 70's and 80's.

Done a little research and things to look for seem to be rust and chips on rear arches, clutch, brake calipers, discs, pads, usual crash damage and history.

Thanks for responses, my budget will unfortunately dictate the car I can get :|

the cheapest... could end up in costing you an arm and a leg.... trust me!!!! good job i didnt mind doing the hard work. but try get one with history with it.

i went cheap to acheive the dream of ownership and is costing me so much money, every penny is worth it mind! but suck it up and spend in the 1st place.. will save you later on! 292 is a cash pit

Sorry but dont appear to have been able to post.

Still on the look out for a FRP, some new cars on Pistonheads but a little out of reach
