What is the best insurance company with an agreed valuation to insure the Racing Puma. All data bases show Racing Pumas as standard 1700cc vehicles, which they are not!
Would cause a problem in the event of a claim!

You can only find it by manually looking for the car, and set the year of registration to 1999. Should then be an option for "Ford Racing Puma Coupe 1999-1999"

I always managed to insure mine as a Ford Puma Racing variant.

Give Pete Best Insurance a ring on 01621 840400. They were the only classic brokers i could find who
would insure my Racing Puma on an agreed value. No other classic broker would insure it despite the
fact that its obviously a modern classic and 'Practical Classics' have it listed in their values guide.

I paid £350 for a policy with them in May which based my 19,000 mile car on an agreed value of £10,000 with
only a £100 excess/no windscreen replacement excess and free breakdown cover. It's on an Ecclesiastical -
Beaulieu policy. I think you'll find them impossible to beat.

They're a classic broker so probably only suitable for the FRP tbh. Forgot to mention you have to
submit photographs to them for valuation and agreed value purposes!

I wonder how well you did is down to the mileage of your FRP and perhaps you also agreed a low annual mileage too?

Mileage is limited to 5,000 per annum. More than enough for me as i run two other vehicles and i
don't want to put too many on the FRP to retain its value.

I would strongly advise Adrian Flux and list car as a classic, also advise them that you are a member of the owners club.
