Welcome along and great to see an enthusiast bringing one back from the brink. An ST225 in the front end of an FRP now that is something I'd love to see. Keep us posted, please!!

Evening all.

Well after lots of effort, the bodyshell is home and tucked up. Sad news is that the focus ST engine won't fit without significant modifications so onto plan b.

Membership requested so I can post progress.

Hi everyone,

Last week I finally got the car I have always wanted and I am now the proud new owner of 139. I think my ST170 hates me for it but I can live that. Anyway 139 is not perfect and I will be needing help from people in the know to get her sorted. So if someone can verify me and give me full access to the forum I would be really greatful. Cheers :D

Hi all, thanks for allowing me to join the group.

I am what some might say the black sheep of my family for not owning a Ford! Family members all own classic escorts and even a freshly restored Orion! I am hoping to join the flock and own that all important blue badge!

I am a classic mini nutter and buy sell and restore all types of mini. I have owned a few Pumas over the years and it is now time for me to up my game and get an FRP.

I am now on the hunt, I have cash burning a hole in my pocket for the right one.

If any members of this forum have something that may be of interest please do get in contact with me.

I hope to find the one for me very soon!

Thanks for reading people,

James

Hi all,
Thank you for letting me join the forum, my name is Joe and I currently have number 96. My wife bought the FRP 5-6 years ago and in that time it has been looked after and driven by the both of us. A costly little car that always seems to put a smile on our face. I look forward to getting to be a part of a knowledgeable forum and hopefully getting to know some of you.

Do you look after it yourself or have you a local place you take it to?

I try to look after it myself, as much as my knowledge and mechanical confidence will allow anyway. I'm based in Essex, I do have an independent garage that does the MOT and other light bits. But where possible, I try to take it to pumabuild. It surprising how many other FRP's I see in my area, Im sure a few will be on here.

Hi Matt,
I live in Braintree but I am from Danbury. I am often around Chelmsford as I have family and friends all over, mostly Rayleigh and Canvey Island but I am always heading somewhere. Having to use the Puma as my daily at the moment as my other car is off the road until the weekend (brake issues).

Hello everyone,

My name is Steve and I'm a serial Fast Ford owner, my past includes several XR2's, Sierra 20iS, XR4i & XR4x4, RS2000 MkII, Escort RS Turbo, 1600i and Mondeo ST all of which been consigned to the annals, my ultimate aim has always been an RS200, (maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't), but for now I've got a Puma Racing itch I need to scratch...I've got a couple lined up to see but found this forum while doing some research...and think I'll use you guys for daft questions and information as and when?

One question I have right now, is there a Register of cars anywhere, unofficial or otherwise that hold details of all 500 cars?

Best regards,

Steve

Even combining all interested sites together there is not a complete register that gives details 100% but is is getting close.
So ask for info based on the manifold number as you find one and see what you might find out.

New owner of FRP 108. Purchased membership last week, just wondering how long to wait before gaining access to the full members forum?
Cheers Paul
