hey all, just after joing the page today!...Iim living in county kerry ireland, heres my story of my frp, ive owned my ford racing puma #261 with the past 5 years, i bought her when i was 19 and was my first sports car, i drove her as my every day car for 1 and a half years, and then parked her inside my shed since as the real value of her personally to myself was that she was too good to drive on the crap irish roads!... U can truely say i love my rp too much :D Now the sad part, as being parked up with so long she needs a little tlc to bring her back to real beauty, as of this im going rebuilding the alcon brakes, new disks and pads all round, freshing up the paint work and a few small little bits and pieces that she deserves!... So i joined this owners club to see if people could steer me in the right direction of locating new parts as my local ford dealer is of no help to me  I will be greatfull of all help and responces!

Hi all, I am the current owner of FRP #401, I purchased it from Jason from Birmingham in July 2012. Its currently SORN and in pieces undergoing a full undershell rebuild. I've got buildthreads on PumaPeople and ProjectPuma forums so will include one on RPOC as things progress. Hopefully I will meet some of you in person a shows in 2013.

Rog1951,

If that was the Shelsley Walsh meeting on 18th & 19th August you were at, then you did indeed meet an RPOC member - that was me.

Mike Manning's Kermit Green 4WD Puma was at that meeting if I remember, but he's not an RPOC member - and there's not a lot of Puma left in there of course (over 600 bhp, sequential gearbox, 4WD, 2 litre Turbo etc.) !

As far as I know, my old #362 was the only FRP doing hillclimbs, but come 2013, V4FRP should be having a go, along with Lisa and Toby.

The FRP competition thing is snowballing. With the Britcar FRP on the way as well, the ruddy things will be popping up all over the place soon !

Rog I think it was myself who you and your son also met at Shelsley as it was where I first met Rod who inspired me to look at hill climbing V4 next season. As Rod says Mike Manning who is local to me down here hillclimbs a monster 4wd cops worth powered Puma reputed to be 650bhp. Any help in choosing an FrP I'm sure will be found on here don't hesitate to ask.

Hi all on 'RPOC' My name is Gary,

I am happy to say that I'm going to FRP #014 from Zara who many of you i believe know already.

I can't wait to get my Puma. Its been a car I have fantasized since I was a child. I really can't believe that I'm just a few weeks away from actually owning one.

I feel extremely lucky to get my hands on a well looked after model at what I feel is a reasonable price. Thanks to Zara for parting with her car so I can have it. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Hopefully I'll get time to sort out the site permissions over the next few days, opening more of it up to the public.

Hi All. New ish on here and finally getting round to posting.
I have always loved the FRP shape and am keen to own one in the future. Looks a great site. I am currently building an Escort mk2 and have been for the past 3 years but once that is complete a Puma must be had.

Cheers and I look forward to using the site.

Boyce.

Hi anti-spam-man/woman and everyone!

Nice to be here.

First time I saw a racing puma was on a round of the world rally rally championship some years ago - well, it was the same shape but not blue and no doubt had a fair few tricks compared to the road going version. Wow - what a beauty!

I have a real soft spot for the Renault Alpine A110, the Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD st185 (see my user name - yawn!) and now, the FRP. I saw you guys at Castle Coombe a few years ago and said I would look you up - and it has taken me until now, as I'm about to lose my company car to start thinking.... I wonder...

To drive and own a FRP is a near next objective.

Cheers
Mark
