HI, Welcome to the club :D

Don't think its possible to contact reg owners like that :?
Why not look for a "V" plate and try and get your name in the plate? I know where the V1 FRP plate is, but I don't think Ford will want to sell it.
There are plenty of cheap FRP plates on the DVLA site.

Hi, and welcome to the club.

If you want a specific number from the DVLA but its not shown you can contact them directly to requested it. If its not in use they will place the number you want in an auction (not a very well advertised one, so you have a high chance of getting it) usually for around £500.

I thought about getting W441 FRP for mine but have decided to stick with the original plate mainly because all the history for the car is on the old plate, if i change it the massive file of paperwork looks a bit out dated.

hope you enjoy your new car!
