I have recently become the very proud owner of frp number 292, alot of work planned as she is far from mint, rust on arches, alloy refurb, drivers side door seems a little out of line, seat basses need refurbing, new tyres all round boot locking mechanism is a little suspect and steering weel is manky and thats just to start!

was a part exchange deal on my beloved focus, was very sad to let her go but the second i drove off in my frp i felt very comforted.

Hi Welcome to the club :D
Make sure the cam belt change is up to date and it has / is done with the correct locking tool.

There are a few FRP's base around Kent.
Which part are you from?
Keep you diary free the beginning of July for the annual meet at Castle Combe in Wiltshire.

Welcome.

I'm in Dartford. If your ever in the area pop in and say hi. I can probably help you out with getting your wheels refurbed.

i would be up for a bluewater meet if one goes ahead. if nothing else would be an opportunity to have a few of the people on here to have a look over us newbies cars.

And the back end in the Wet !!!
bare in mind that only 300 odd still exist so nearly 200 have been written off etc.
I bet quite a few of those went off the road backwards in the wet

I'm not going anywhere near Bluewater on a weekend for the next 2 months!

How about Brands Hatch??? Or somewhere in the middle of some good country roads.
