I wouldn't get insured for anything reasonable as 2nd driver to a parent so looked at going 1st driver and that was the prices i got.

Welcome along! as Al said the wait will do you good :) I had 2 standard Pumas before upgrading to the FRP a few months back :D

I'm only 22 and have found Quinn Direct to be quite good for younger drivers :) have been with them for 3 years and my insurance is £700 fully comp, although different circumstances etc do have to be taken in to account :roll:

I guess you have to take your circumstances in to account, I am a student but I have been driving for 4 and a half years with a clean license. I am paying not alot for the car I have on insurance. I now work for GSK for the year so I guess I could try looking at insurance for an FRP but I don't really want to get rid of my Freddie :)
