Well just an update on the FRP for 2011 really...

last Monday some ignorant [profanity replaced] of a [profanity replaced] did this to my car :

was parked up in a car park and came to find it like this - CCTV was facing in the completely opposite direction and after trawling over the cars in the car park found no blue paint or damage on anyone elses car ???

so.. managed to source a brand new primed bumper from Ross, gave him £100 quid for it and that will be here next weekend as well as the original splitter, newly refurbed alcons and some alcantara - just need some more quotes for painting the bumper.

Friday I took the car over to Top Gear Automotive in Wolverhampton (Martin who works there specialises in TVR, Lotus, VX220 and of course the FRP - as he helped to set up Pumabuod back in the day)

#014 had a major service and MOT

changed the spark plugs for NGK iridium which I managed to pick up for £32 delivered :D and the K&N panel was thoroughly cleaned - added much more response to the car and feels much much better :D

MOT - I informed Martin that any brake/suspenion related issues would be sorted next month as its booked it to get rear brakes replaced, fronts serviced and new suspension all round
these were the only issues the car had when I picked it up so Im well chuffed with that! :D

Great news.

I've just had my suspension delivered so looking forward to getting it on. New mounts, bushes ect... should feel like a new car.

Well it's been a while since Ive updated this so on with it...
#014 is still doing well and running as sweet as she can :)
currently kicking through 116k

Had the full suspension change carried out last February, full brake service (which have been serviced regularly throughout 2011 due to brake judder and a different pads but all sorted now :ok: )

The rear bumper got smashed into whilst staying over in a hotel, cctv facing elsewhere - the point! so the rear bumper was pretty much rebuilt with thicker fibreglass and repainted - good as new :)

Also in June the thermostat housing decided it was going to crack on the way to the Nurburg Ring, ended up in a trip home with a £200 bill for a new one, Thermostat and coolant change etc...

Intermediate shaft was also changed as the bearing had dried up, causing insane vibration on the car when accelerating hard!
Also had problems with loss of power and overfuelling big time! after much hassle found this to be the spark plugs - had burnt out and the ceramics had all cracked!! were in far too tight as if an air gun had been used  so Top Gear Automotive can sod off any more of business from myself as it was fully serviced there last year and August came to aquire new set of plugs.

Now 2012 has arrived, a new list of jobs to do..

MOT is booked in for 23rd of this month
Next month she'll be heading up to Chris for a full service, new rear splash guards, temp sender and ARB bush change, I also want to speak to him about leaving her there in September for the underseal coating, sort out the interior LEDS and possibly get my passenger window sticking sorted whilst im out in South Africa

Insurance due next month and Tax in March
I have next weekend off next week so hopefully, weather permitting and staying dry I'll get the chance to get the wheels off polished and waxed up and get the lime prime out, strip off the old wax and get her washed throughly and fresh wax applied..

Thats it really for now here's a few shots as she is :)
