Cheers

The top mounts have made it much better at the back. It doesn't bang as much when you go over a pothole etc.

Pothole's are best to be avoided in any FRP, lovely FRP you have there. :D

Thanks for positive comments. I try my best to avoid potholes because they are never good in the FRP!

Sadly I can't make Duxford due to work. Sounds like it's going to be fun.

Just thought I'd add a few more pics after a clay, polish and wax. I so love the colour of the FRP :)

Great news today....

R9 FRP passed it's mot with a clean sheet :)

While it was in I had the Idle Control Valve changed along with the gasket.

Cars running really well at the moment.

Last week I had a new manifold and second hand cat fitted along with four new alloys.

Not much left on my list of things to do to make it a minter :)

Another update....

Car sailed through it's MOT again today. No work required and no advisories.

I took it in last Thursday and left it with them as I was getting a humming noise from front end so I sourced some wheel bearings myself and asked Ford to fit those along with my new standard front suspension and top mounts. Was surprised out how rusted my old ones were so will hopefully feel the benefit. Apparently my old wheel bearings fell to pieces as well so pleased I had them changed.

Will order the parts for my service so I can do a service and change the rear suspension over during my week off next week.

Another happy year of motoring :)

That is really good news :)
Did you fit new top mount rubbers and bearings too as you had the suspension out?
