Hi everyone,
I purchased #249 last week down in Yorkshire, it now lives in Arbroath, Scotland.
I will be sending in my application for the FRP club to allow myself access to the full wealth of knowledge on tap.
Regards and thanks to Mogsmex for his help in my search for a realy good car.

Hi all,
Thanks for the warm welcome into ownership.
#249 is a Real Nice car, 2 previous owners, the last for 7 years, full service record mainly Ford Main Dealers, 60,000 miles, new Cam. belt just last week.
Can anyone tell me how to attach a couple of photos?
Also can I change my posted user name?
On the official membership application form a manifold number is asked for, where can this be found?
Regards, Willie B.

hi mate the images can be hosted off a site like photobucket then attach the link to this thread.

the manifold number is the number on your inlet manifold in the engine bay :-)

hope that helps

alan.

p.s, if you have trouble with the pictures send me them at frp241@hotmail.co.uk and ill put them up for you :-)

i keep a collection of photos of all the frp's well about 350 of them that i have but i havent got any of your car so will be good to add it too the collection :-)

Hi willie, welcome to the forum. If you would like your user id changing pm me what you would like it to be :D If you want to post up pics, you have several options. You have access to a forum gallery where you can post pics to the relevant sections and just link to it in your message, or as alan says use photobucket in a similar way.

Big Boy Al,
Thanks for the help with the pictures, yes it is very good.
Spent the weekend under the car inspecting mechanics and checking for rust --- minimal amount to deal with.
Regards, Willie

Lovely looking car there. You bought this just before I managed to view it sadly! Hope the transaction with Redline went well.

I have my eye on a few FRP's and will soon be an owner fingers crossed! As a new owner to the FRP how are you finding it?

Hi Chris,
No, The Alcon calipers are just painted Red, I suppose to match the Red Stuff pads that have been fitted

Hi Burfyboy,
Thanks for the interest.
Sorry for delayed reply been busy playing with my new toy.
I guess that a new set of discs and pads will be on the cards come summer time [ no judder yet but a bit rusty in a couple of areas], do you know what minimum thickness the discs can go down to?
Also need to get rear screen window wash water to come out of the nozzle, just seem able to get a trickle at the moment, and the courtesy light will not operate when the passenger door is opened --- I suspect a bad earth.
That appears to be the only requirements for the near future, although I will know doubt get through a few gallons of cleaning and polishing gear.
Regards, Willie
