Hi all,

Some news about #095!

I have made a lot of job on it now, to make her run perfectly...

First of all, I have made a big wash to the inside, using Autoglym products.

The floor, the left is made and not the right.

All the floor ok :

The roof before :

And after :

Dashboord and doors before (I haven't pictures of after, but it's perfect now! 8) ) :

After, I have washed the engine bay (sorry, I haven't take pictures of it...)

I had the first problem during that, an ignition leads has "rust" and he break when I put it out to verify the spark plug. So I command new one to replace them!

In the rear "lugage compartment", behind the side carpet, it was very dirty, so I wash it all too.

After :

After a little time, I received some piece to continue the work :

First of all, I change the engine filter and oil, I put Motul 300V, nothing is too much good for her!
I change the catback, the old one wasn't the original one, new spark plug, new magnecor ignition leads...

After that, I want to replace the brakes all around, but a big problem appears... The locking nuts. I haven't the kee for them, and they ware completely block in the wheel... No one want to come!!! After a lot of trying, of professional visited, I haven't any other choice than cut the wheels... :| :(

A professional trying (at a Ford dealer, they were very happy to see a FRP!) :

And during the "process" :

And finished... :

I was very sad to have to cut FRP wheel...

With a little luck, I have just to cut 3, that the last haven't a locking nut.

So after, I can change all brakes and pads, and put the new wheels!

I need to change now the oil gearbox and the heather control valve to have the first mecanical works made. 8)

Corr that’s a bit drastic !!!

Still I feel for you having been there myself on another car, I managed 3 with hammering various sockets on, the last required the help of Mr Grinder :(

I only cut into that hole though didn’t get as far as hacking the whole wheel off :D

Nice plans you have for the car 8)

If they professionals couldn't get it off then I doubt that you could with your own tool?

Your plans look good, I look forward to seeing the progress.
